Elizabeth has a BSc honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol and an MSc in Management of Intellectual Property from Queen Mary, University of London.
Elizabeth joined Sagittarius IP in 2011 based in our Cambridge office and became a partner in 2024. She qualified as a UK Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2015, completed CIPA’s Litigation Skills Course in 2015, and holds the Intellectual Property Litigation Certificate.
Elizabeth’s practice includes patent drafting and prosecution of pharmaceutical and biotechnology inventions. Her subject matter specialisms include therapeutic proteins and nucleic acids, cellular therapies, cell reprogramming, gene therapies, antibody technology, and diagnostics. Her current clients include start-ups, SMEs and universities, but she also worked at a major pharmaceutical firm on secondment for over 3 years where she gained valuable experience working in-house. Elizabeth also has significant experience in IP due diligence and freedom to operate evaluations.
