Andrew graduated with a first class honours MChem degree from the University of Oxford in 2022, specialising in organic and bioinorganic chemistry. In his final year, he conducted a research project on the total synthesis of two related natural products of pharmaceutical interest.
Andrew entered the profession in 2022 as a trainee patent attorney working at a boutique IP firm based in Oxford, before joining Sagittarius IP in 2025. He has gained experience in patent drafting, prosecution in Europe and internationally, and in contentious matters across multiple jurisdictions. Andrew’s work focuses on medicinal chemistry, in particular small molecule pharmaceuticals, and he also has experience with devices and drug delivery platforms. Andrew holds the Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Bournemouth University and is based in our London office.
